Dear Friends,

Four years ago, Eliot Spitzer and the New York City Democrats came to Albany promising to lower our taxes, fix the upstate economy and clean up our state government. It’s now 2010, and what has the Democrat-takeover of Albany done for us? Unemployment is the highest its been in a generation, our property taxes are higher than ever and Albany has become the laughing stock of an entire country because of its scandals and corruption.

We all know there’s something terribly wrong with our state. We can see it. We can feel it. New York has become a place that people want to escape from rather than move to. This has to change, and I am fighting to do just that. I make three firm commitments to you, the voters. As your Assemblyman, I will:

* make job creation priority one
* vote against any budget that increases taxes or fees
* fight the culture of corruption in Albany

This November, we have the opportunity to set our state back on the right course and reject the Democrat policies that have driven away our jobs and made our property taxes skyrocket. Please join me in this effort to turn our state around and make it great again.
